Installation steps

1. Lower the mower deck all the way down.

2. Take off the retainer pin that holds in the cable, and pull the spring and cable up and out.

3. Unscrew the clip from the frame.

4. Use a pair of pliers from the inside, press against the tabs slightly and pull the cable out.

5. Use a socket wrench to pull out the o-ring on the other side of the cable.

6. Replace the new PTO engagement cable. Reverse the previous step to put the o-ring of the new cable back.

7. Hook up o-ring side first, and lock the cable in on the top.

8. Drop the spring down through the frame, slide it under the mower, line up with the slot and lock the cable in the right place with the retainer pin. 9. Lock the cable in the hole on the frame with the clip.
